Cosmetology Summary

The Brio Academy teaches a comprehensive course of Hairdressing and Cosmetology approved by the State of Connecticut. This course includes, but is not limited to the following:

• Haircutting
• Hairstyling
• Physiology
• Salesmanship
• Shampooing
• Manicuring
• Scalp Treatment
• Finger Waving
• Permanent Waving
• Cosmetic Chemistry
• Anatomy
• Sanitation
• Hygiene

Student Requirements: 17 years of age and GED/High School Diploma are required for completion.

Upon Completion of this course and after passing a State Board Exam, you will be qualified as a new Licensed Hairdresser/Cosmetologist/Barber.
